Davenport Center for The Arts is proud to present Halloween Comedy with a Psychic Twist. Headlining the event is award-winning New York City comedian and television actress Mary Dimino.

Dimino is a multifaceted entertainer. Winner of Best Female Comedian (Manhattan Association of Cabaret & Clubs)) and Winner of a Gracie for Best Actress, Mary Dimino also earned the prestigious NY International Fringe Festival Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Solo Show for her one woman play Scared Skinny, penned & performed by the comedian.

Live comedy, coupled with palm, tarot and crystal ball readings from resident psychic Madame Ganelle, post comedy show, are included in the price. Light snacks will be served, best costume prize will be awarded and guests go home with trick-or-treat swag bags.

Headliner Mary Dimino is a familiar face on television, with appearances including NBC's Today Show, FOX's Laughs, PBS, HBO's Chris Rock Show, VH-1's Best Week Ever, Comedy Central's Graham Norton Effect, NY-1, Sirius XM's Leiberman Live, American Movie Classics Interstitial Comedy, sketches on Late Shows with David Letterman and Conan O'Brien, SNL, the role of Polly on New York Undercover, and numerous national commercials. Currently Dimino can been seen in national network ads for Life Reimagined and Sheba.

In theaters, Mary Dimino has played Connie the Maid of Honor in Tony & Tina's Wedding, Carmella in Surprise, and Vidalia in the off-Broadway hit My Big Gay Italian Funeral at St. Luke's Theater. Mary Dimino's new one woman show, Big Dummy: Me & My Old Man runs regularly at Times Square Arts Center and won the United Solo Award of Theatre Row. She is a regular member of the internationally touring stand-up comedy/improv troupe The Italian Chicks.

Mary Dimino is slated to perform both her award-winning one woman shows Scared Skinny and Big Dummy at Davenport Center for The Arts in 2018.

Featuring in Halloween Comedy with a Psychic Twist is Broadway actress JoAnne Callahan, who will also host the event that evening. Callahan played Bebe in Dance a Little Closer at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway and on television she had the role of Pauline Breeder in Law & Order.
