Hangar Theatre Co Presents BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR
The Hangar Theatre Company presents Bet Your Bottom Dollar, a new FUNdraiser to benefit the Hangar's artistic and educational programming. The event takes place on Saturday, October 13th at the Hangar Theatre located at 801 Taughannock Blvd. A pre-show VIP reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., with the start time of 6:30 p.m. for all attendees. All are encouraged to "dress to impress", and will enjoy sumptuous snacks and potent potables, enchanting entertainment, live auction, raffles, and a plethora of prizes donated by local organizations and businesses.
The evening begins with live performances from the company of Ragtime from Ithaca College Department of Theatre and a welcome from the Hangar's Artistic Director, Michael Barakiva, and Managing Director, MaryBeth Bunge. Guests will enjoy additional performances by artists from 2018 Mainstage productions including Lauren Sprague from Chicago, Graham Stevens from Xanadu, and David Studwell from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
At 7:30 p.m. the games will begin! Attendees will receive a playing token upon entering which will be redeemed for playing chips. Gambling tables include blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps. Other games include BRAVO (the Hangar's version of BINGO), trivia with local author Bob Proehl, fast facts, a word search, a crossword, madlibs, and more! Players can redeem their token or chips for raffle tickets and enter to win prizes. The evening will end with dessert, a closing performance, and announcements of raffle and auction winners.
