Elmwood Playhouse Presents STICK FLY
Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting "Stick Fly", written by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Joe Albert Lima. "Conflict sparks in this juicy family comedy drama. "Stick Fly" runs March 9, 2018 thru April 7, 2018 (no performances March 30, 31 or April 1), Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm with an additional Thursday performance on April 5, 2018 at 8pm. Tickets are $25 / $22 Seniors and Students.
The affluent African-American LeVay family gathers on Martha's Vineyard for the weekend. Brothers Kent and Flip bring their respective girlfriends to meet their parents for the first time. As the two newcomers clash over issues of race and privilege, family tensions reach the boiling point when long-hidden secrets emerge.
"Stick Fly" features Dana Duff (of Nyack), Hasan Gray (of Newburgh), Sienna Jeffries (of Pomona), Rahiem Wilson Morgan (of Ossining), Maiysha Jones Reilly (of Nyack) and Dameon Reilly (of Nyack).
