CRT Downtown Presents Comedienne LYNNE KOPLTIZ: HOT AND BOTHERED
Cortland Repertory Theatre is proud to present comedienne Lynne Koplitz on "The Hot and Bothered Tour" for one show only, Friday, November 9th at 7:30PM. This hysterical comedienne will bring her unique take on life to CRT Downtown, 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the show. This show is considered Adult Humor and is rated PG.
Koplitz is the free-spirited "Auntie" that 2018 needs; she's experienced, unattached and willing to tell it like it is! Her strong and independent perspectives on the world can clearly be traced back to her mentor, the late great Joan Rivers, to whom Lynne dedicated her Netflix special, "Hormonal Beast".
Lynne has been a fixture at New York's Comedy Cellar for the past decade alongside some of the best in stand-up comics including Louie CK, for whom Lynne served as an opening act at Madison Square Garden and performed in his web series "Horace and Pete". Lynne also opened for Chris Rock and appeared in his film "Top Five". She tours throughout the United States in venues like Las Vegas' Comedy Cellar at The Rio, Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel and Casino, and Gotham Comedy Club, where she recently shot an episode of an upcoming virtual reality stand-up show. Lynne was also a main part of Jenny McCarthy's "Dirty Sexy Funny" tour for several years. When not performing, Lynne spends time writing her collection of short stories, "Sex and the Kitties", and keeping watch over her home neighborhood of Greenwich Village in New York City.
Tickets for "Lynne Koplitz: Hot and Bothered" are available 24 hours a day at www.cortlandrep.org (a small service fee is applied to online sales). Tickets can also be purchased in person at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street during office hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00.
