Summer Fun Theatre Camp

Florida Children's Theatre — formerly Fort Lauderdale Children's Theatre — is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational center for theatre arts serving children and families across South Florida. Founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1959, it is the oldest documented children's theatre in Florida. The organization is now based at the Broward College Fine Arts Theatre in Davie and offers theatre, circus and film classes for students from Pre-K4 through 12th grade, plus a mainstage production season with open auditions. Summer programming includes Storybook Adventures day camps at both its Galleria and Davie locations and a Summer Stage Show Camp that culminates in a performance. The theatre has been named one of twelve great children's theatres in the US by Backstage.com. Scholarships, outreach programs and volunteer opportunities are available.

Summer camp offerings are Storybook Adventures Camp at the Galleria location, Storybook Adventures Camp at the Davie location, and Summer Stage Show Camp. Classes and camps are listed by grade from Pre-K4 through 12th grade. Scholarships are available.
