School of Rock New Canaan

School of Rock New Canaan is a performance-based music school at 41 Grove Street in New Canaan, Connecticut, offering both in-person and online instruction in guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals for students of all ages. The school's method pairs one-on-one private lessons with group band rehearsals, so students play music from the first weeks and work toward live performances at local venues. Themed one-week summer music camps are offered through the season, including an 80s Rock Camp and a Classic Rock Camp in 2026. The House Band program gives selected students under 18 a place in a gigging band that performs additional shows at Connecticut venues throughout the year, and Performance Program students may audition for the national AllStars summer tour. The location operates Monday through Friday afternoons into the evening plus weekend hours.
