School of Rock Maine Line

School of Rock Main Line is a performance-based music school at 511 Old Lancaster Road, Suite 4 in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, located behind Casey's Pour House. Programs at this location are Rock 101 for ages 8-13, the Performance Program for ages 8-18, Songwriting for age 12 and over, and an Adult Program for students 18 and up. Each combines one weekly private lesson on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or vocals with a weekly group band rehearsal, so students learn by preparing music for live performance at area venues. Performance Program students can audition for the House Band, which plays shows throughout Pennsylvania during the year, and for the national AllStars summer tour. The school also runs seasonal music camps, though no camp dates or pricing were posted at the time of review.
