Kaufman Music Center Summer Musical Theatre Workshop

The Summer Musical Theater Workshop is run by the Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street in New York City. Participants perform in original musicals written specifically for them, working on acting, singing, and movement with the school's theater faculty. The workshop is part of a theater curriculum for ages 3.5 to 18 that also includes Theater Adventures, Drama Club, Musical Theater Workshop, and Winter Arts Camp, plus private lessons in acting or singing. Kaufman Music Center is a nonprofit community arts institution whose programs span private instrument instruction, group music and dance classes, early childhood, Suzuki, Dalcroze, jazz, and chamber music, and it also presents concerts in Merkin Hall and operates the Special Music School.
