Idyllwild Arts Summer Program - Theater

Idyllwild Arts runs a summer arts program on its 205-acre campus in the San Jacinto Mountains at Idyllwild, California, alongside its year-round residential arts high school. The Summer Program offers workshops for all ages, interests and abilities, organized into Kids (ages 5-13), Teens (ages 14-17) and Adult (18+) tracks, with arts focus areas in dramatic arts, dance, music, film and digital media, visual arts, creative writing, fashion design and Native American Arts. The program traces its roots to founding artists including Ansel Adams, Pete Seeger and Merce Cunningham, and draws students from around the world. Registration for the 2026 Summer Program is open. The campus also houses the Native American Arts Center, which produces an annual Native American Arts Festival Week.
