Great Big Theatre Company

Great Big Theatre Company is a young people's theatre organization founded in 1994 that runs theatre day camps, classes and school workshops across southern Ontario. Summer 2026 camps run in July and August at church and community venues in Brampton, Burlington, Cambridge, Georgetown, Guelph, Hamilton (Dundas, Mountain, Stoney Creek), London, Markham, Mississauga, Oakville, Richmond Hill, St. Catharines, Toronto (Beaches, Etobicoke, North York), Waterloo and Whitby. Programs for ages 6 to 14 include plays, mime, improvisation, theatre games, musical theatre, work with simple sets and costumes and a concluding public performance; full-day camps also include outdoor activities, games and sports. A camp t-shirt is included with each registration and financial aid is available.

Full-day camps run 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (Tuesday to Friday for the four-day session). Camp content and performances differ each week, so campers may register for one or more weeks.
