Funcamps-Magicamp

FunCamps runs its flagship summer day camp on the University of Miami campus in Coral Gables, where it has operated for 37 years and served more than 50,000 campers since 1989. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and describes itself as the only ACA-accredited day camp in Miami. Campers ages 5 to 13 choose from six programs: MagiCamp, Amazing Science and Space Camp, JurassiCamp, FunArts, the Game Tech Institute, and a Robotics and AI camp new for 2026. Activities include rocket launches, an inflatable planetarium, fossil hunting, painting and sculpture with a take-home portfolio, video game design, coding, 3D modeling, and robot building. Campers use air-conditioned campus facilities and take field trips. FunCamps also operates locations in Pinecrest and at FAU in Boca Raton.

Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 3:30pm, with courtesy drop-off from 9:00am and pick-up 30 minutes after camp. Aftercare until 5:30pm is available for an additional fee, exclusively at the University of Miami location.
