New Mexico State University Presents DESTINATION: BROADWAY
NMSU Theatre Arts has announced its first show of 2021, Destination: Broadway! The department's annual show Broadway On Stage has a new name and a new look.
Theatre summer camp in Orlando, FL
Destination Broadway is an audition-based musical theatre training intensive for aspiring performers, taught by Broadway performers, music directors, choreographers, casting directors, talent agents and other industry professionals. The 2026 summer intensive runs July 19 to 25, 2026 at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida. The program aims to immerse students in the world of musical theater, expose them to the business side of the industry and give insight into professional practice. Admission requires an audition: video submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis, and live auditions were scheduled in Huntington, West Virginia, plus the Houston, Orlando and West Palm Beach areas. Auditioners sing one song of up to 32 bars or 90 seconds. Destination Broadway also runs a program at William & Mary.
Held at the Rosen Centre, Orlando, FL. Admission is by audition: video auditions are accepted year-round, and live auditions were held in Huntington, WV (March 28, 2026) plus Houston, Orlando and West Palm Beach. Audition requirement is one song of 32 bars or no more than 90 seconds, sung with a recorded track or a cappella.
