Crystal Theatre Summer Camps

Established in 1987 under the auspices of Norwalk Parks and Recreation, Crystal Theatre is Fairfield County's children's theatre, with rehearsal spaces in the Ben Franklin Community Center in historic South Norwalk, Connecticut. Programs serve children from age four through high school, and the mission is to help every motivated student become a better performer through practice and positive reinforcement. Summer camps run by age band: a half-day mini-musical camp for ages 4-6, full-day multi-arts camps for grades 2-5 that pair acting, dance, and singing with themed watercolor classes, and a full-day camp for grades 4-12. Every camp ends in a fully costumed public performance of an original or adapted musical, many written by the theatre's founders. Crystal Theatre also produces a community theatre season in a 232-seat downtown theatre.

Summer camps by age band: a half-day mini-musical camp for ages 4-6 ($385), full-day multi-arts camps for grades 2-5 ($485) combining acting, dance, singing, and themed watercolor classes, and a full-day camp for grades 4-12 ($395). Each camp ends in fully costumed public performances. Rehearsal spaces are in the Ben Franklin Community Center in South Norwalk.
