Nicci Nicholas brings the final run of her cabaret show, "Nothin' Can Be Done", to Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street, on Tuesday, November 19th, all at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. $20 cover with a two-drink minimum. Cash Only. Make reservations online at: donttellmamanyc.com/shows.Directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Ian Herman, Nothin' Can Be Done includes a mix of some of Nicci's' favorite tunes, spanning the vocal styles of jazz, standards, and of course, musical theatre, with a few laughs in-between. Since moving to Manhattan from San Francisco, Nicci has performed at virtually every club in New York City (some are even still open!).The voice, a dark contralto, is naturally pleasing. There is no affectation within the production of her sound, and each song feels as if it is being spoken..... She pairs song to patter very well, artistically even, and she has an impressive command of her vocal instrument. -- BistroAwards
