The music of songwriter Noel Katz is brought to The Duplex Cabaret Theater in "Things We Do For Love". The show is directed by Justin Boccitto (Group Theatre Too) and music directed by Christine deFrece. Featuring the talents of Steven Bidwell, Stephen Mitchell Brown, Christine deFrece, Vanessa Dunleavy, Rebecca Kubaska, Brad Siebeking, and featuring Noel himself on the piano.

Noel Katz is known for "Such Good Friends" which won five awards including Talkin' Broadway's citation as the season's best musical at the fourth annual New York Musical Theatre Festival, as well as "Our Wedding, the Musical" a musical he composed for his own wedding in 2003. "Our Wedding, the Musical" was featured in the New York Times and was performed by the bride and groom, the wedding party, and the entire audience!

Mr. Katz is also a theatrical improvisation specialist, having taught at Artistic New Directions Summer Improv Retreat, the People's Improv Theatre, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Circle in the Square and the National Dance Institute, and composed a variety of improv based-revues for the New York branch of Second City.

"Things We Do For Love" is produced by Steven Bidwell in association with The Group Theatre Too. Tickets are $12 and there is a two-drink minimum. Show times are May 2 at 9:30pm and May 3 at 7:00pm at The Duplex Theatre, 61 Christopher Street.
