Robert Cuccioli Makes 54 Below Debut Tonight

By:

Broadway Star, Robert Cuccioli will make his debut at 54 BELOW (254 W. 54th Street between Broadway & 8th Avenue) tonight, February 6th, at 9:30 p.m. with A Standard Love, featuring Barry Levitt as Musical Director with Jon Burr on bass and Alvester Garnett on drums.

The show reflects the Tony-nominated (Jekyll & Hyde) actor's love of music from ballad to swing. Cuccioli will take audiences on a musical journey of loving and losing and loving again, through musical standards from the 30's and 40's lending his rich voice to some of the most endearing American standards ever written. Each song is part of a timeline that, as Robert says, "features an aspect of my own romantic life that resonates in my heart."

Such songs selections include: The Look of Love, I've Got You Under My Skin, How Do You Keep the Music Playing and Zing Went the Strings of my Heart, Witchcraft, For All We Know, A Fine Romance, I Wanna Be Around, among many others. Of course, the evening will include Robert's signature song from "Jekyll & Hyde", This Is the Moment.

ROBERT has performed in 100 productions over 30 years and currently appears in the dual role of "Dr. Norman Osborn/The Green Goblin" in the rock musical Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, based on the Marvel Comics' character. "No music inspires me more than the classic standards of the '30s and '40s, says, Cuccioli. It is immediately obvious that he has poured his heart, soul and passion in his first solo album, The Look of Love, with arrangements by Barry Levitt, currently available on Amazon.com, ITunes.comand CDBaby.com.
