Rev. Mary Returns To Don't Tell Mama

Singer and performance artist, Mary Elizabeth Micari, aka Reverend Mary, returns to the premier cabaret theatre, Don't Tell Mama, for an encore performance of her acclaimed one-woman show, Lady in Black. The audience follows Rev. Mary on a musical journey spawned from a trip down memory lane thanks to her high school and college journals. Mary sings from her soul with a group of vintage noir-style tunes woven together to reveal the tale of a woman's journey to find herself. Rev. Mary's All-Man Band returns with her: jazz pianist, Dan Furman; guitarist Alan Lighty; and drummer John Dinello. The production is produced by Jay Michaels Arts & Entertainment.

Rev. Mary is a specialist in vintage songs made famous between 1910-1950. Some tunes are familiar, some haven't been heard in a century.

Rev. Mary is preparation a series of cabaret performances to happen during 2018-2019 each specifically-themed but all celebrating lost tunes from bygone eras.
