Photo Flash: Marilyn Maye, Alexander Oyen, Kennedy Caughell & More Perform at Jim Caruso's Cast Party

Monday night's episode of Jim Caruso's Cast Party felt like New Years Eve, if only for the jam-packed house, glittering entertainers and high energy! The evening started with a brand new Mentor Monday, the monthly series in which performer/presenter Trevor McQueen teams emerging and established artists. This one featured recent Elon University grad Kennedy Caughell and singer/composer Alexander Sage Oyen, who were teamed with the award-winning composer John Bucchino. The Party went on into the wee hours, and the talent gamut ranged from 6-year old drummer Charlie Broelman to eighty-something-year old legend Marilyn Maye! It was certainly family night - the Victoria & Carol Shaw/Ruby & Ava Locknar clan, the Broelman/Esposito musical family and brother/sister singers Jon and Kristen Corpuz helping make the night very special. Kate Luckinbill, who has a pretty fancy family tree, absolutely killed the crowd with her humor and great voice, and Birdland regular Natalie Douglas showed off her dazzling vocal prowess! Thirty-one singers, a packed house, and the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra (Billy Stritch, Steve Doyle and Carmen Intorre) all helped make the final 'extreme' open mic of 2013 a very festive one!
