Jim Caruso's Cast Party, the wildly popular happening that has brought Broadway glitz and urbane wit to the legendary Birdland in New York City every Monday night since 2003 was very special Monday night as stage, screen and TV star Michele Lee surprised and wowed the audience which included Michael Feinstein.
Jim Caruso as usual guided the entire affair with his razor-sharp humor and the unbridled enthusiasm of an uber-fan. Musical Director Billy Stritch who was on the road with Tony Bennett was replaced at the keyboard for the evening by none other than the brilliant pianist Tedd Firth along with Steve Doyle on bass, and Daniel Glass on drums... If you have a voice, a dream and some sheet music, your Cast Party moment awaits.
