Metropolitan Room Welcomes Back Paris-Based American Vocalist Joan Minor for Limited Return Engagement

By:

Recording artist Joan Minor returns to the elegant Metropolitan Room with three top French musicians in her latest sparkling show "April In Paris - Soulful Jazz With Parisienne Sass".

This international collaboration breathes new life into standards from the American Songbook. Known as the Joan Minor Quartet, this group performs jazz classics with innovative fluidity, which flows from combining their varied backgrounds and occasionally surprise with original compositions.

Showtime at Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th & 6th Avenue), NYC, 10010 on Saturday, April 15, 7pm. Doors open at 6:15pm. For more information, http://metropolitanroom.com/event.cfm?id=256390 or call (212) 206 0440. Joan last performed there to a packed house in 2014.

About Joan Minor

Affectionately referred to as "une bête de scène", Joan is exceptional in intimate venues like the Metropolitan Room, where audiences live every lyric with her. Gliding easily between songs, in full command on stage, Joan ushers audiences through the deepest blues, before flashing her megawatt smile and moving them to tunes like "Love Wins" by Bill Cantos. She is the consummate entertainer. Her debut Album, "Integrity Matters," received notable praise:

"Beautiful voice...if you like light jazz with a good feel of tunes that we used to hear by the masters, you should hear this!" B.B. King
