Marty Thomas presents DIVA is in search of a new diva! DIVA features some of New York cities most captivating female vocalists covering some of histories most over the top female icons. The show currently features talent from the both Broadway stage and the recording industry. Every Monday at 11 PM, Kelly King (Michael Bolton, Babyface), Kat Hennessey (Wicked, Cirque du Soleil) and Anne Fraser Thomas (How the Grinch Stole Christmas) take to the stage with a special guest diva and host/producer Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu, The Secret Garden). Special guests have included Rachelle Rak (Catch Me If You Can, Fosse), Alysha Umphress (American Idiot), Felicia Finley (AIDA, Smokey Joe's Cafe), Orfeh (Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever), Ramona Keller (Bklyn!, Smokey Joes Cafe), Sabra Johnson (So You Think You Can Dance), Stephanie Gibson Chase (The Addams Family), Rachel Potter (The Addams Family) and many more!

In September, an 8 week elimination syle competition will begin, seeking New York Cities most impressive diva. Applicants must be well versed in many vocal styles, must be excellent live stage performers, have excellent musical sensibility and a vast catalogue of music is a plus! The 8 selected contestants will perform/compete every Monday night through September and October. Applicants must be available for Sunday rehearsals as well. The winner will recieve a large cash prize, a headshot package with stylist, a custom diva gown created by designer Todd Barnes, a day of beauty, and many more prizes! Aside from the cash/prize package, the contestants will work with a collection of industry professionals and gain invaluable exposure.

Please include a selection of diva songs (Celine, Streisand, Whitney, Mariah, Idina, Lupone, etc.) that you would be prepared to perform to karaoke track.
