Introcaso. Make your reservations online at: http://donttellmamanyc.com/shows/main/bobbie-horowitz-s-it-s-just-a-number-1-29. There is a $20 cover charge and 2-drink minimum per person. Horowitz's popular series pays tribute to individuals aged 50 and over who are re-inventing, re-creating and thriving in new or former endeavors.

Once an aspiring flutist, pianist and vocalist, Renee Katz has returned to performing years after a violent attack by a stranger that required surgery to reattach her hand. After her recovery, Katz became an occupational therapist, and recently has resumed her life as a performer, earning a nomination by BroadwayWorld.com for her cabaret show entitled Never Been Gone, based on a book of poetry titled the same. During the first two weekends in February, her next Don't Tell Mama show, Winter Awakenings, will feature Maury Yeston's passionate December Songs. Michael Colby, 66, saw a Broadway dream thwarted in 1982, when his off-Broadway musical, Charlotte Sweet, was upstaged by Little Shop of Horrors, which opened the following month. Disappointed but undaunted, Colby not only co-wrote a musical now optioned for Broadway-DANGEROUS-but he is the author of the popular book The Algonquin Kid, a memoir of growing up at the legendary hotel. As for Charlotte Sweet - it will be presented in concert at Feinstein's/54 Below in February. John C. Introcaso, 70, conceived the musical DANGEROUS, for which he is composer, librettist, and co-lyricist. Introcaso was developing ideas for musicals for decades while working in the advertising business and playing piano around town. Along with Colby, his Broadway dreams for DANGEROUS are now in reach.

Horowitz often chooses guest performances who fit her theme as well. The Jan. 29th edition features MAC nominated performer Peggy Eason, who has been blind since birth; singer/actress Anita Hollander, who has performed at the White House as well as played major roles across the country, unimpeded by the fact that she lost a leg to cancer at the age of 26; Other performing guests include Sidney Myer, Christine Lavin, Denise Spahn-Morgan and Broadway's N'Kenge, who will preview two showstoppers from DANGEROUS at the event.

Bobbie Horowitz, 77, is a beloved songwriter, performer, producer and image consultant, who won a MAC Award in 1988 for her duo show with Sharon "Spector" Schapow. Since then Horowitz has emerged as a major supporter and producer of cabaret, and can be seen nightly out in New York City cheering on beginners and veterans of the performing arts. She's won the MAC Award for the last two years as "Best Emcee" for IT'S JUST A NUMBER.

Past IT'S JUST A NUMBER honorees include: Alice Fisher, Director of Community Outreach at the Office of NYS Senator Liz Krueger; New York singer-songwriter-author and Brand Ambassador Meg Flather; singer and Cabaret Scenes Editor-in-Chief Frank Dain; and Reverend Shawn Moninger, Comedian and Senior Minister of Unity of Fairfield County in Norwalk, Connecticut, and founding president of The Unity Church of New York in New York City.
