On Wednesday, January 30 at 10PM, "I Hate New York: A Love Story," a one-hour cabaret revue of songs of love, hate and ambivalence toward New York City will be presented at The Metropolitan Room. The evening will feature Ben Cherry, in his cabaret debut accompanied on the piano by musical director Sheldon Forrest

"I Hate New York: A Love Story" features music written by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harry Warren, Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz, Maury Yeston, Gordon Jenkins, Nellie McKay, Peter Golub, John Michael LaChiusa, John Bucchino, Michael Mooney, Dave Frishberg, Charles Strouse, and others.
