Broadway, film and television actress Haley Swindal makes her NYC cabaret debut with Play to Win at The Cutting Room on Sunday, October 27 at 8pm. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. There is a $20 food/drink minimum. Phone (212) 691-1900 or purchase online at www.thecuttingroomnyc.com.

Swindal's musical career has taken her across the country and around the world, from Carnegie Hall to the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo, and right back where she grew up: Yankee Stadium.

Play to Win tells the story of Haley's quirky journey charting her own path in the arts, using all that she learned from the passion and perseverance of her greatest influence: her grandfather, Yankees owner and consummate New Yorker, George Steinbrenner. With a mix of Broadway, folk, rock, and some zany stories along the way, Play to Win blends a little baseball with a lot of life and love.

Play to Win is co-conceived and directed by Broadway producer and director Arianna Knapp (Producer, SenovvA; Artistic Director, North Shore Music Theatre), and musically directed by Ben Krauss (The Mystery of Edwin Drood). Accompanying Swindal are Chris Clark (bass), Sherrie Maricle (drums), Nick DiFabbio (guitar), Kristy Norter (reeds), Allison Seidner (cello).

Haley has appeared on Broadway and on tour with Jekyll & Hyde, White Christmas,Jesus Christ Superstar opposite Ted Neeley, and as Grace Farrell in Annie opposite Sally Struthers. She has performed in concert alongside the great jazz vocalist Steve Tyrell, acclaimed Irish tenor Ronan Tynan, and under the baton of Steven Reineke with the New York Pops. As a film actress, she won a New York Emmy as the host of Kids on Deck, which ran on YES Network Television for two seasons. In November, she can be seen starring as Ellen in North Shore Music Theatre's Miss Saigon.

The Cutting Room is located at 44 East 32nd Street (between Madison Ave. and Park Ave. South).
