The new production, GOTTA GET A GIMMICK, Burlesque to Broadway starring Quinn Lemley will make its New York debut at the prestigious BB King Blues Club and Grill Wednesday, June 10th, 2009 at 8:00PM (Doors open at 6:00PM for dinner and Gimmick Contest with prizes). Future scheduled engagements include: The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, West Palm, FL, Mesa Performing Arts Center, Mesa, AZ; Sunrise Theatre, FL, Haugh Performing Arts Center, Glendora, CA, etc. The production centers on the life of Quinn Lemley, an innocent midwestern girl who comes to New York and discovers her gimmick through the world and music of burlesque.
The production features 13 on-stage performers including writer, comedian and actor, Jamie Jackson, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, (US National Tour) Sydney Theatre Award nominee and Mike Walsh fellowship grant recipient from Cameron Mackintosh's Really Useful Group. Gina Marie Trello and Elaine Hayhurst take the roles of back up singer/dancers. Orchestrations of the 9-piece band by Steve Rawlins, credits include: Bette Midler, Academy, Emmy Awards, and Chaka Kahn among others. Costumes by Melissa King of Ms. Tickle Arts; credits include Anti Gravity in Broadway Bares and Marc Jacobs infamous Christmas extravaganzas among designing for the living legends of Burlesque. Broadway and international Choreographer, Jill Gorrie, leads the company to dance up a storm. Musical direction by David Epstein. Vocal arrangements by Phil Hall, conductor for the Broadway revival of Mame with Angela Lansbury. Anaitte Vaccario, Official Digital Scenographer, recipient of the Garland Award, Best Multimedia by BackStage West. Written by Jamie Jackson and Quinn Lemley with Direction by Thom Garvey 2003 NYC Fringe Festival, Melbourne/Sydney nominee for best direction and Blade to the Heat, Oliver Mayer's boxing drama. Gotta Get A Gimmick, Burlesque to Broadway, marks the highly anticipated follow-up for Quinn Lemley, star of critically acclaimed, The Heat Is On! A Life in Concert celebrating Rita Hayworth,

Quinn has been seen on Oprah, Geraldo, Good Morning America, off-Broadway Israel Horovitz, Barking Sharks. She will be seen with Bette Midler and NOra Jones in the upcoming film, "The Greatest Ears In Town - The Arif Mardin Story, produced by Hudson River Film. She has recorded five CD's for HepCat Records available on Amazon and CD Baby.
