Fun-Filled and Feel-Good ROCCO'S XMAS PIANO Brings Christmas Cabaret to Theatre On The Bay

After playing to capacity houses at Theatre on the Bay with AMAZING GRACE in 2017, popular pianist Rocco de Villiers returns to the popular Camps Bay theatre with ROCCO'S XMAS PIANO with a fun-filled and feel-good show packed with your favourite Christmas melodies.

The music pieces in ROCCO'S XMAS PIANO are all taken from De Villiers's gold status album, BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL HYMNS, and his latest release, BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL HYMNS 2. The spectacular collection of carols and hymns includes "Silent Night", "The First Noel", "The Little Drummer Boy", "Mary's Boy Child", "O Holy Night", "Hard the Herald Angels Sing" and "Ave Maria". De Villiers also includes a tribute to Afrikaans iconic songwriter Koos du Plessis and plays "Somerkersfees", an Afrikaans Christmas carol celebrating Christmas in Africa. Also in the show are pop hits like "White Christmas" and "All I Want for Christmas Is You".

ROCCO'S XMAS PIANO promises to be light and entertaining, with Rocco's typical patter in between songs about his life, Christmas, our country, end of the year eating, credit card debt and celebrations. The show promises to be a show of hope and happiness, a show of soul and spirit, and a show of love and life.
