Cabaret Singer, Corinna Sowers-Adler, brings her new cabaret show entitled, "Let Me Sing and I'm Happy" to the Metropolitan Room in New York City on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 4pm.
"Let Me Sing and I'm Happy" is an evening of American popular song filled with funny songs with (as Mr. Berlin wrote) "crazy words that roll along" to make you laugh, "sad refrains of broken hearts that loved in vain" to make you cry and "crooning blues that start you tappin' your feet and lift you out of your seat"!
Corinna brings "Let Me Sing and I'm Happy" direct from the Emerson Center in Vero Beach, FL. Ms. Sowers-Adler recently made her Jazz at Lincoln Center debut at the 2013 Cabaret Convention. Critic, Stephen Hanks states, "The New York cabaret community should realize that this talented singer has indeed catapulted herself into the elite group of young performers and landed very comfortably in the mix." Corinna Sowers-Adler is the latest voice of the American Songbook and was nominated for "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 BroadwayWorld Awards.
