Celina Carvajal Celebrates ROOMS iTunes Release With One Night Concert I AM A HAM 12/7

To honor the release on iTunes of the hotly anticipated cast album of ROOMS a rock romance, Celina Carvajal, Broadway starlet and ROOMS a rock romance cast member, will be performing a one night concert of songs by composer Paul Scott Goodman on December 7, 2009 at Sweet Caroline's Piano Bar in midtown.

The concert, directed by David Alpert, features songs from Paul Scott Goodman's most loved shows, ROOMS a rock romance, Bright Lights Big City, and Alive in the World.

The night will also the musical stylings of guitarist, Matt Hinkley.

Celina Carvajal was last seen in New York as Sarah, the sexy blind librarian, in Off-Broadway's The Toxic Avenger. Celina's Broadway credits include roles in the original casts of Tarzan and Dracula, as well as 42nd Street (Anytime Annie), and Cats (Demeter). Celina's Off-Broadway credits also include ROOMS a rock romance, Bedbugs!!! in 2008's NYMF (for which she earned the NYMF Outstanding Individual Performance Award), and Green Eyes in the 2008 NYC Fringe Festival. Celina's vast credits also include being a finalist on MTV's "Legally Blonde, The Search for the Next Elle Woods." And you can see her in the upcoming movie, "The Big Gay Musical."

Paul Scott Goodman was the first recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame - Best New Songwriter Award. Paul is also winner of the Backstage Foundation Award for his show Domestica (book, music, and lyrics), and the first recipient of the Jonathan Larson Foundation Award. ROOMS a rock romance began performances on February 27, 2009 and ran through May 10, 2009 at Off-Broadway's New World Stages. The ROOMS a rock romance cast album will be released on iTunes on December 8, 2009.
