The Brown Paper Box Co returns to Davenport's Piano Bar this September with an exciting new incarnation of CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: A Miscast Cabaret. This evening will feature new faces, new characters, and will provide fresh and unexpected perspectives on characters you think you know. CHARACTER BREAKDOWN promises to be a heartfelt and hilarious evening filled with musical theatre classics and contemporary Broadway hits.

"After the huge success of our first miscast cabaret, we wanted to explore the idea even further with more duets and songs with multiple characters interacting with each other," says Brown Paper Box Co. artistic associate and CHARACTER BREAKDOWN coordinator Stephanie Rohr. "Expect to see classic duos turned on their heads, and characters interacting across eras and shows, blurring lines of gender, race, age, and vocal types in the process."

You'll hear surprise song selections from composers Stephen Schwartz, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Kander & Ebb, and more! Tickets for the one-night 8pmperformance are $15 with a two-drink minimum at Davenport's Piano Bar & Cabaret. Ticketing information can be found at www.davenportspianobar.com and www.brownpaperbox.org.
