54 Below Hosts PASSING THE BECHDEL TEST: DUETS FOR WOMEN THAT AREN'T ABOUT MEN

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Passing the Bechdel Test: Duets for Women That Aren't About Men, at 11:30 pm on February 9, 2018.

Frustrated by a canon with far too many women whose roles revolve around the men in their lives, musical theatre's hottest writers and brightest stars team up to right a longstanding wrong.

The evening features world premieres and old favorites by composers Cesar Alvarez and Emily Orling, Amy Burgess and Sara Cooper, EllaRose Chary and Brandon James Gwinn, Emily Chiu and Xiaodan Zhang, Deepali Gupta, Jacob Fjeldheim and Keurim Hur, Joe Iconis, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, and Sam Salmond.

Songs will be performed by Delaney Amatrudo, Marinda Anderson, Ally Bonino, Jane Bruce, Daisy Carnelia, Mariah Del Rio, Badia Farha, Deepali Gupta, Emma Hunton, Cori Jaskier, Elexis Morton, Lauren Pritchard, Allie Sandler, Jessie Shelton, Shannon Tyo, and Michelle Veintimilla.

Katie Goffman directs, with musical direction by Anessa Marie and Brooke Magalis on drums. There is a $15 cover charge and $20 food and beverage minimum.
