Awestruck, the soon to launch network and lifestyle brand for millennial moms that will be available on YouTube, Facebook and Verizon Wireless' Go90 service, today announced that it has entered into a digital production agreement with Zoe Saldana and her production company Cinestar, which she co-founded with sisters Mariel and Cisely Saldana.

Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy), and her sisters will partner with Awestruck on both un-scripted and scripted content, of which she will serve as the executive producer. Zoe Saldana and her sisters will also create the Cinestar Youtube channel for the Awestruck MCN.

"Zoe epitomizes the talent we are seeking for Awestruck. She marries a strong creative vision and an existing fan base with the experience of being a new mom," said Sarah Penna, Head of Awestruck. "We are thrilled that Zoe, Mariel and Cisely will be making their first foray as online creators with Awestruck."

"With modern moms on-the-go and online, the opportunity to create content specifically for them is exciting. The team behind Awestruck has already proven their expertise in reaching young audiences with AwesomenessTV, and we are thrilled to partner with them to collaborate on this new promising venture," said Saldana.

Awestruck will feature a mix of female-centric scripted and unscripted programming formats, from comedy and drama series to docu-reality and talk shows that showcase a mix of digital stars and celebrities. Awestruck will debut fall 2015.
