VIDEO: U.S. Trailer for ALPHA PAPA with Steve Coogan as 'Alan Partridge'

Steve Coogan stars as infamous radio host Alan Partridge, a character he created with Armando Iannucci. The socially challenged DJ is a well-known figure in the UK. Coogan and Iannucci co-wrote the script with help from Peter Baynham and Neil and Rob Gibbons. Sean Pertwee, Colm Meany and Anna Maxwell Martin also star. Check out the U.S. trailer below!

According to Deadline.com, the film centers on the "Norwich, England radio station under siege and the host forced to act as negotiator between the police and the disgruntled employee who's holding the station hostage."
