Telemundo announces the eagerly awaited premiere of its new original production, "Los Miserables," next Tuesday, September 30th at 9pm/8C, starring Aracely Arámbula, Erik Hayser, Aylín Mujica, Gabriel Porras and featuring a special appearance from Aarón Díaz. The script, written by Valentina Párraga ("La Patrona"), is based on the epic French drama by Victor Hugo, one of the most important romantic authors in world literature.

Set in modern times and filmed entirely in Mexico, "Los Miserables" is a melodrama that tells the story of Lucía Durán "Lucha" (Aracely Arámbula), an innocent woman being chased by the law who must use all of her wits to fight, resist and hide, in order to prove her integrity to her persecutor, who is also the man she loves.

Joining the stellar cast is Marco Treviño, Alexandra de la Mora, Aldo Gallardo, Diego Soldano, Bianca Calderón, Claudio Lafarga, Estela Calderón, Thanya López, Macarena Oz, Gabo Anguiano, Luis Uribe, Verónica Terán, María Barbosa, Gina Varela, Anastasia, Manola Diez, Alex Camargo, Eva Daniela, Dave Douglas, Rodrigo Vidal and Javier Díaz Dueñas.

"Los Miserables" is an original Telemundo Studios production filmed by Argos Televisión, directed by Carlos Villegas ("La Patrona") and supervised by executive producer Martha Godoy ("La Reina del Sur" and "El Señor de los Cielos").
