TREE OF LIFE Among Winners of ASC's 2012 Outstanding Achievement Awards

Emmanuel Lubezki's THE TREE OF LIFE was among the winners for American Society of Cinematographers' 26th annual Outstanding Achievement Awards, held Sunday, February 12th at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles.

The winners for the 26th Annual awards is as follows:

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN FEATURE FILM
Guillaume Schiffman, AFC – The Artist
Jeff Cronenweth, ASC – The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Robert Richardson, ASC – Hugo
Hoyte van Hoytema, FSF, NSC – Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

ABOUT THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CINEMATOGRAPHERS

The American Society of Cinematographers is a non-profit association dedicated to advancing the art of filmmaking. Since its charter in 1919, the ASC has been committed to educating aspiring filmmakers and others about the art and craft of cinematography; it accomplishes this by publishing the internationally renowned magazine American Cinematographer and the venerable American Cinematographer Manual, through seminars at schools and industry events, and via one-on-one mentoring. ASC members volunteer their time for such activities.
