Singer, Songwriter & Actor Carlos Ponce Signs Exclusive Contract with Telemundo

TELEMUNDO confirmed today it has signed an exclusive contract with internationally renowned actor, singer-songwriter and host, Carlos Ponce. He currently stars as "Manuel Gallardo" in "Silvana Sin Lana," his fourth leading role with the network, in which he also serves as the singer-songwriter for the romantic comedy's theme song, "Que bonito es lo bonito." "Silvana Sin Lana" airs Monday through Friday at 8pm/7c.

"I've had the opportunity to participate in various Telemundo productions throughout the years, so I'm very excited to officially join and continue to collaborate in different projects," said Carlos Ponce. Carlos Ponce is an internationally recognized Puerto Rican actor, singer-songwriter and host. His albums have become double platinum and held the #1 spot in the Latin Billboard charts in the USA, Central, and South America. As an actor, he has starred in Spanish-language productions including, "Dame Chocolate," "Perro Amor" and "Santa Diabla." In American television and film, he has played various roles throughout his career in productions such as Beverly Hills 90210, 7th Heaven, Just My Luck, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, Telenovela, Cristela, Devious Maids, Couples Retreat, Spy, and in animated films such as Río, Freebirds and Ice Age 5, among others. Additionally, Ponce has also served as co-host of the Latin Billboard Awards, Premios Tu Mundo, Entertainment Tonight, and the MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT in Spanish, on multiple occasions, and in English in 2006.
