Another Night, the film based on Nick Flynn's memoir Another Bulls**t Night in Suck City, will star Robert De Niro as a homeless man looking for a place to stay and Paul Dano as his son who works at the shelter where his absent father shows up. The film, adapted and directed by Paul Weitz (who most recently directed Little Fockers), is in pre-production and has no slated release to date.

Robert De Niro is a multiple Academy Award-winning actor whose wide range of film roles includes The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, and Meet the Parents along with its two sequels, the most recent of which, Little Fockers, was released in late 2010.

Paul Dano is perhaps best known for his roles in Little Miss Sunshine and There Will Be Blood. He has also recently appeared in Broadway's A Free Man of Color.

No further casting has been announced at this time.

Weitz, along with Andrew Miano through their Production Company Depth of Field, plan to produce the film in conjunction with Corduroy Films (Michael Costigan) and with TriBeCa Prodcutions, Robert De Niro's company. The executive producers will be Jane Rosenthal and Meghan Lyvers of TriBeCa, Caroline Baron, and Kerry Kohansky of Depth of Field, reports Variety.
