Photo Flash: First Look - Tony Vincent Performs on Next Week's THE VOICE, 3/26
Broadway vet Tony Vincent last month made his first appearance on NBC's singing competition THE VOICE, where he performed his on rendition of Queen's "We Are the Champions." The rocker is now preparing to sing in the battle round of competition against fellow contestant Justin Hopkins, with Cee Lo as a mentor. NBC has just released photos of Monday night's battle between the two performers!
Vincent's Broadway credits include JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR as Judas and RENT as Mark Cohen; most recently he was seen in the Green Day rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT.
Celebrity musician coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton return for the show's second season, along with Carson Daly as host and Christina Milian who joins as social correspondent. The show's innovative format features three stages of competition: the blind audition, the battle phase and the live performance shows. In the end, each coach will have one star artist ready to compete against the other teams' finalists to be named "The Voice."
THE VOICE airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC.
