NBC Ratings Shares Encore SNL As the #1 Show of the Night Image

The April 21 encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," hosted by Sam Rockwell and featuring musical guest Halsey, has averaged a 2.7 rating, 7 share in "live plus same day" household results from the 56 local markets metered by Nielsen Media Research and a 1.0/6 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

Last night's "Saturday Night Live" is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in both metered-market households and in 18-49 in the local people meters, topping all primetime shows on those nets in both categories.

Saturday Primetime Ratings:

Regarding Saturday's primetime Nielsens, note that the fast-affiliate ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and are subject to revision for live sporting events. As those preliminary numbers stand, NBC Sports 8-11 p.m. ET coverage of Stanley Cup Playoff hockey is tied for #1 for the night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks.

In metered-market results, which are time zone-adjusted, last night's NBC Sports 8-11 p.m. ET coverage of Stanley Cup Playoff hockey, featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Boston Bruins, posted a 1.35 rating in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research.

Versus the week-earlier primetime Stanley Cup Playoff game, last night's coverage was up +3% in metered-market households (1.35 vs. 1.31 with Maple Leaf-Bruin).

NBC ranked #1 for the night in adult 18-49 rating in the 25 Nielsen markets with local people meters with a 0.8 rating.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.
