Matthew Broderick, Tony Danza & More Set for Jewish Channel's Theater-Oriented ROW J

The Jewish Channel will broadcast a special 40-minute edition of its theater-oriented monthly TV show, "Row J," to begin airing on demand on Tuesday, December 16. Row J" is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. The executive producer is Brian Scott Lipton.

Each episode of "Row J" focuses on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, highlighting Jewish themes, actors, writers, and directors. Theater personalities discuss their current projects and careers, alongside reviews of new shows, on-location features with theater community notables, and other special segments.

The December edition of "Row J" will include:

* a look at the opening night of the musical "The Last Ship" with comments by Grammy Award winners Sting and Billy Joel, as well as Michael Esper and Aaron Lazar, who star in the show.

* a preview of "Kids Night on Broadway" with Tony Award winner Judith Light, "Honeymoon in Vegas" star Tony Danza and Broadway League executive director Charlotte St. Martin

* a report on the Dramatists Guild Gala, featuring such luminaries as Matthew Broderick, Sheldon Harnick, Lisa Kron, Marc Kudisch, Charles Strouse, Doug Wright, and Chip Zien
* an in-depth studio interview with noted comedian and "On the Town" star Jackie Hoffman

* a special Chanukah shopping segment with "Bad With Money" star Ben Rimalower

* a roundtable discussion featuring Ganzman, Lipton, and "Row J" contributing critic Jesse Oxfeld discussing "Disgraced" and playing a trivia-themed version of "The Dreidel Game"

* celebrities including Jason Robert Brown, Michael Cerveris, Christine Ebersole, Nancy Opel, Miriam Shor and more responding to Row J's provocative "question of the month"
