Maria Celeste Arraras Travels to Cuba for Telemundo's Coverage of Pope Francis' Visit

"Noticiero Telemundo's" co-anchor María Celeste Arrarás will travel to Cuba to lead the first phase of the network's special coverage of Pope Francis' visit to Cuba and the United States, "Francisco en América." Noticias Telemundo reporters Rogelio Mora-Tagle and Iván Taylor will also participate in the network's coverage of the papal visit to the island. Mora-Tagle will accompany the Pope in the papal jet, and Taylor will complement the coverage in Cuba.
Telemundo will follow Pope Francis from his arrival in Cuba, scheduled for 2 PM ET on Saturday, September 19, through his return to the Vatican on Sunday, September 27. "Francisco en América" will offer unprecedented coverage, deploying 10 correspondents to document the Pope's travels from the Vatican to Havana, continuing on to Holguín, Santiago de Cuba, Washington D.C., New York and Philadelphia. "Noticiero Telemundo" anchors María Celeste Arrarás and José Díaz-Balart "Un Nuevo Día" co-anchor Ana María Canseco will be at the forefront of the network's coverage, alongside a team of experts and analysts on site at each of the Pope's stops. The beloved Mexican singer and actress Lucero will also play a role as the spokesperson for the charitable campaign #ActosdeBondad, which will run in parallel the Pope's visit on Telemundo and its digital platforms.Videos
