Mad Men's Christina Hendricks Set to Star in SECONDS OF PLEASURE
According to the Hollywood Reporter, MAD MEN star Christina Hendricks is set to star in the upcoming film, SECONDS OF PLEASURE. In addition to Hendricks, the cast of the independent film will include Matt Dillon, Julia Stiles, Brendan Fraser and Kristin Scott Thomas.
The film is based on the 2004 book of short stories by author Neil LaBute, whose movie writing credits include In the Company of Men and the Wicker Man. LaBute will pen the script for this latest film adaptation. Mike Figgis, the Oscar-nominated director of Leaving Las Vegas, will direct. STV, the Scottish broadcaster will be producing the project along with Margaret Enefer, Bill Shapter and LaBute.
SECONDS OF PLEASURE will tell the story of six different couples whose lives are brought together.
Producer Enefer commented, "Neil has written an incredibly candid, blazingly witty script. We know Mike Figgis will make it shine in the most sensitive and imaginative way possible. It's a thrill to have them working together with this amazing cast."
