In advance of the May 28 release of his buzzed-about album WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE influential rock legend JOHN FOGERTY will appear on two special televised country music events: the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards and Tim McGraw's Superstar Summer Night Special.

For the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards--airing live Sunday, April 7 at 8:00 PM on CBS-TV from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas-the iconic singer, songwriter and guitarist will be a presenter. The ceremony, co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, honors country music's top talent as well as the industry's hottest emerging artists.

FOGERTY will perform on the ACM Presents: Tim McGraw's Superstar Summer Night Special, taping on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Special is set to air Sunday, May 19 at 9:00-11:00 PM on CBS-TV.

WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE--a celebration of FOGERTY's iconic songbook--is a collection of 12 classics and deep tracks from his remarkable canon of hits recorded in collaboration with other artists, plus two brand new solo songs. Performed alongside an array of today's biggest superstars from the country, pop and rock worlds, it marks FOGERTY's ninth studio solo album since disbanding Creedence Clearwater Revival. Mixed by Bob Clearmountain, it was recorded in Los Angeles and Nashville except for "Proud Mary" which was recorded in New Orleans with Allen Toussaint and the Rebirth Brass Band. FOGERTY recorded "Fortunate Son" with Foo Fighters at their 606 studio using "the" legendary Neve recording console featured in the #1 iTunes documentary Sound City. In an in-studio feature in Rolling Stone (2/14/13), Clearmountain is quoted as saying: "It's no nostalgia fest. It's like they're new songs."

Within a week of servicing the album to radio, every song from the 14-track WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE was spun at stations across Rock and Country formats with over 1,000,000 listeners hearing the music.

FOGERTY's enormous influence on music includes the world of country music, and artists such as Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Alan Jackson join him on WROTE A SONG FOR EVERYONE.
