On this Sunday's MEET THE PRESS, the economic recovery shows signs that it's gaining traction with a strong jobs number out this week. But does Washington's partisan war threaten those gains? Is our government working as it should? Was Sen. Rand Paul's marathon filibuster just another sign of D.C. dysfunction, or did it work? And were meetings this week between President Obama and Congressional Republicans a sign of a break in their icy relationship, or just more political theater? We'll have a special discussion with current and former members of Congress. Joining us: Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA), Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), freshman Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Rep. Cory Gardner (R-CO) and host of MSNBC's Morning Joe, fmr. Rep. Joe Scarborough (R-FL).

Then: Our roundtable looks at gender in America as a new book by Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg sparks a debate about how women can succeed in the workplace. Plus, insights and analysis on the legislative battles ahead over guns, immigration and the debt. Joining us: Author of "Why Women Should Rule the World" and former White House Press Secretary under President Clinton, Dee Dee Myers; Tennessee Republican Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn; former senior adviser to John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign Steve Schmidt; and Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus.

Also Sunday: Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush has become a major thought leader in the Republican Party. Sunday on Meet the Press, he takes on big issues confronting Washington like immigration. Plus, the future of the Republican party: Will there be another Bush running for the White House come 2016?
