FOX has locked in its drama commitments for next season as TOUCH will return for a second season while "Alcatraz" and "The Finder" have both been canceled.

The moves - confirmed by network and studio sources - come as FOX prepares to announce its 2012-13 schedule on Monday.

All three series were widely considered on the bubble for next season with "Touch" (8.7 million viewers on average; 2.5 rating/7 share among adults 18-49) leading the pack, followed by "Alcatraz" (7.0 million; 2.3 rating/5 share among adults 18-49) and "The Finder" (5.9 million; 1.9 rating/5 share among adults 18-49).

TOUCH will join a returning drama class which includes "Bones," "Glee" and "Fringe," the latter for its fifth and final season. Blending science, spirituality and emotion, the series follows seemingly unrelated people all over the world whose lives affect each other in ways seen and unseen, known and unknown. At the story’s center is MARTIN BOHM (Kiefer Sutherland), a widower and single father, haunted by an inability to connect to his emotionally challenged 11-year-old son, JAKE (David Mazouz).

Caring, intelligent and thoughtful, Martin has tried everything to reach his son. But Jake never speaks, shows little emotion and never allows himself to be touched by anyone, including Martin. Jake is obsessed with numbers – writing long strings of them in his ever-present notebooks – and with discarded cell phones.
