David Schwimmer to Guest Star on WILL & GRACE as Debra Messing's Love Interest

David Schwimmer will have a recurring guest role on NBC's Will & Grace as a new romantic interest for Debra Messing's character, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Other guest stars for the upcoming season will be Chelsea Hander, Alec Baldwin and Mary McCormack. Season two of the reboot returns this fall with 18 episodes. The series has been renewed for a third season.

Schwimmer's last television appearance was his Emmy-Nominated role as Robert Kardashian in FX's AMERICAN CRIME Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. He also starred in AMC's one-season drama Feed the Beast. Schwimmer also recently produced a series of anti-sexual harassment PSAs in response to the #MeToo movement and is executive producing the TV adaptation of Lovefor BBC Two.

Will & Grace nabbed five Emmy nominations for its revival season, including best supporting actress for Megan Mullally, who plays Karen Walker on the show. "Karen Walker and Malcolm Widmark are a great TV couple together - I also really, really love working with Alec. He's a total pro and he's the fing funniest person. He's only here for two days. So we rehearse one day and then we shoot it the next day," the actress told The Hollywood Reporter.

With all of the guest stars announced for season two, co-creator Max Mutchnick told The Hollywood Reporter, "Once they're on the show and when they fit in as well as they do, we hope to see these people over and over again because we feel like the audience likes it as much as we do."

Season two of Will & Grace premieres October 4th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
