Casting is officially underway on Fox's MINORITY REPORT pilot.

According to Deadline, Daniel London and Li Jun Li, who were featured in the original film, have signed on to reprise their roles.

Per the report:

"[London] plays Wally the Caretaker, the gawky caretaker at the Precrime Temple where the children were observed. A decade later, he is anxious to help Vega and is assisting Dash in establishing a new identity. Li plays Akeela, a Crime Scene Investigation technician who works closely with Vega."

FOX recently announced Mark Mylod as MINORITY REPORT's director. Previously, Mylod directed ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME pilot, as well as the pilot of Golden Globe-winner THE AFFAIR for Showtime. From Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television and GODZILLA writer Max Borenstein, MINORITY REPORT is based on a 2002 Spielberg film of the same name, which starred Tom Cruise.

Paramount TV and 20th TV's MINORITY REPORT is a sequel to the movie. Set 10 years from the end of Precrime in Washington, D.C., a Precog attempts to start a regular life as a human. However, his future keeps coming to haunt him. He then meets a detective who is troubled by her past but may be the answer to his ultimate question: "What is the purpose of my gift?"

Borenstein and Falls are executive producing alongside Amblin TV's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey.
