Dane Cook to Star in NBC Comedy Pilot NEXT CALLER PLEASE

According to EWOnline.com, actor and comedian Dane Cook is set to play the lead in the upcoming NBC comedy pilot NEXT CALLER PLEASE from Stephen Falk, Universal Televison and Lionsgate Television.
The comedy will center on Dane's character, described as "a brash alpha-male DJ and his new, plucky, feminist cohost, set in the offices of a satellite radio station."
The project marks Cook's first leading man role on network television. He has recently guest-starred on Hawaii 5-0 and the comedy series Louie. The actor's film credits include Mr. Brooks, My Best Friend’s Girl, and Employee of the Month.
