CBS Takes Key Adult Demo for Second Monday in a Row

CBS won its second consecutive Monday in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, led by increases by HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, MIKE & MOLLY and HAWAII FIVE-0, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Dec. 17.

A one-hour HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER broadcast was second in households (5.4/08), viewers (8.66m), adults 25-54 (3.9/09), adults 18-49 (3.4/09) and adults 18-34 (3.0/09). Compared to last week's half-hour episode, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.2/09), +7% in adults 18-34 (from 2.8/08) and was even in adults 25-54.

2 BROKE GIRLS was second in households (6.2/09), viewers (10.16m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10), adults 18-49 (3.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.6/07).

MIKE & MOLLY was first in households (6.7/10), viewers (10.80m), adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and adults 18-49 (3.3/08). Compared to the last first-run episode (Dec. 3, 2012), MIKE & MOLLY was up +5% in households (from 6.4/10), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.3/09), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 3.1/08) and added +570,000 viewers (from 10.23m, +5%).

At 10:00 PM, HAWAII FIVE-0 was first in households (6.5/11), viewers (10.29m), adults 25-54 (3.2/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). Compared to last week, HAWAII FIVE-0 was up +2% in households (from 6.4/10) and added +450,000 viewers (from 9.84m, +5%).

For the night, CBS was first in households (6.1/09), viewers (9.81m), adults 25-54 (3.8/09) and adults 18-49 (3.1/08). CBS won Monday in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second straight week.
