CBS THIS MORNING Posts Year-to-Year Gains in Viewers

For the week ending August 8, CBS This Morning was the only network morning news broadcast to post a gain in total viewers (2.83m from 2.61m, +9%) compared to the same week last year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings.
CBS THIS MORNING gained +220,000 viewers compared to the same week last year and closed the gap with NBC and ABC by 470,000 viewers and 670,000 viewers, respectively. CBS This Morning is in the time period's closest competitive position with NBC in nearly 20 years (since December 1994).
