CBS Developing AMERICAN GOTHIC Drama with GOOD WIFE Alum

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS is bringing former GOOD WIFE writer Corinne Brinkerhoff back into the fold.

Brinkerhoff is at work on developing a drama series for the network based upon Grant Wood's famed painting, 'American Gothic.'

The series is "set among the world of the Boston elites, American Gothicfollows a prominent family grappling with the revelation that their recently deceased patriarch might have been a serial killer. The discovery sets off struggles within the clan, including the fear that one of their own might have been his accomplice."

Brinkerhoff, who has also worked on ELEMENTARY for the network, will also executive produce AMERICAN GOTHIC, which hails from CBS Television Studios.
